Off-campus access using OpenAthens

  • When you access E-Library using your own computer/internet connection at the Faculty, or access it from home or any other location, you can have access to full text e-resources using OpenAthens, which is a secure login service that enables remote access to licensed e- resources (books, journals, databases in E-Library). NOTE! Only students and staff of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the National University of Laos are eligible to get OpenAthens

 

  • IMPORTANT! To access E-Library e-resources in full text remotely you need to have active OpenAthens Please contact +8562054706511 to ask to create you an account. Please note, you will need an email address to request an OpenAthens account.

 

Steps to activate your OpenAthens account:

  1. After requesting your OpenAthens account using the contact details provided above, you will receive an email with instructions on how to activate your account. Click the link in the email to open the OpenAthens activation page:

  1. Create a password for your OpenAthnes account:

  1. You will receive a confirmation that your account has been activated.

Now you can access the e-Library off-campus by logging in with your OpenAthens credentials here (https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,shib&custid=s2280149&groupid=main&profile=eds>
